Wilderness at the Smokies
April 30-May 1, 2010
Avoca will once again return to Wilderness at the Smokies, Tennessee's Largest Waterpark Resort. Make your reservations now ... online or by calling 1-877-325-9453. Stay one night or both at the rate of $109/night. The online code for the Avoca block of rooms is 1004AVOCAE. A portion of the proceeds from each room will be given to the Avoca PTA.

 Pre-Order: We are giving parents the option of pre-ordering yearbooks. If you pay for the yearbook before December 15, 2009, the cost is $20; after December 15, the cost is $25.
Dragon Whispers: Send a message to that special child, grandchild, niece, nephew or friend with a Dragon Whisper. The cost is $3 for the first 20 words and $2 for every 10 words over 20.
Sixth Grade Baby Pictures and Messages: Parents, Grandparents, or Guardians may purchase space for a message and baby photo. The photo cannot be a professional portrait due to copyright issues. In the past we have not returned the photos. The cost is $5 per photo. The cost for a message is also $5, and messages must be no more than 35 words.

What an exciting year 2009-2010 is going to be! Food City has a “brand new” program. Food City will donate $600,000 in cash this year through the Food City School Bucks Program to participating schools. The amount awarded to each school will be based on the percentage of total purchases of participating items by customer, using their Food City ValuCard, who have registered to support a particular school. It is simple…just shop, scan and save to support Avoca Elementary School.
The program dates are from Sunday, September 27though Saturday, May 1. For every $10 in Food City Exclusive Brand purchases in a single shipping trip, using your Food City ValuCard, Avoca will receive 1 point toward their School Bucks reward.

Participating Brands
Participating brands include Food City, Food Club, Full Circle, Paws, ValuTime, Top Care, Academix, Domestic, Electric, EasyClix, World Classics, and Dining-In products, as well as Kay’s Ice Cream, Terry’s Snacks, Lay’s Meats, Farmbest Milk and Ker’s Bread & Cake products.
Just take a copy of Avoca’s barcode along with your Food City ValueCard to any Food City. This will automatically like the two together, which means all you have to do is scan the barcode one time. From that point, it’s simple…just Shop, Scan & Save to earn valuable points for Avoca Elementary School.. Remember this is a ValuClub program….use your ValuCard and save for Avoca Elementary School. Anyone can register to support Avoca, so enroll your friends and family and help maximize the contribution to Avoca Elementary School.
