Link Your Value Card to Avoca! Minimize

Food City is changing the way the Apple for the Students program works this year.  Instead of saving receipts, you simply register your Value Card.  All you have to do is ask the cashier to link your value card to our school.  It's a one-time process.  From then on, every time you make a purchase and present your Value Card, the receipt total will be tallied for the school automatically.

It's so easy that you can encourage grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends to register their card for Avoca too, no matter where they live. Every Food City, including those in other states, will have Avoca's bar code to allow shoppers to register.

Items purchased through the program last year include six overhead projectors, three VCR/DVD combos, a digital camera, and a digital camcorder.  All of these items are available for teachers to use directly with students.

This year, the program runs from September 16, 2007 - March 29, 2008.  Keep an eye on the Food City website to see our point standing.
